Northern Transylvania, although not as famous as its Southern sister, is one of those secret places that every traveler searches for, but very few really get to enjoy. In a garden where dragons once lived, cactuses, exotic plants and old wooden churches are everywhere… do you think we are seeing things? Maybe it’s the famous local brandy, palinka. Our guests were very interested in the making of this magical liquorice, back in April when we visited the Northern part of Transylvania as well.
Come and see for yourself, we are visiting the wooden church of Zimbor, the “Dragons Garden” and the Botanical Garden of Jibou. We’ll have a great lunch at a local distillery, where we’ll have the chance to taste 5 different types of the brandy.
